Dr Mahathir Testifies In Court
KOTA BAHARU, May 6 (Bernama) -- Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad testified in the Magistrate's Court today in the trial of a businessman who was charged with inflicting injuries on him and three others at the Pengkalan Chepa airport on July 28 last year.
Dr Mahathir arrived at the court complex here at about 9am and testified for more than an hour beginning 11am in a packed courtroom before magistrate Azman Mustapha.
Datuk Nik Sapeia Nik Yusof, 53, is also charged with inflicting harm on former Pasir Mas member of Parliament Datuk Ibrahim Ali, Mohd Nasir Muda and Suberi Sahidan, by spraying a substance hazardous to the body at the airport.
Dr Mahathir was scheduled to attend a function organised by the Kelantan People's Action Council at a hotel here. Berita selanjutnya
