Abdullah Will Share Islam Hadhari Concept At Davos Forum
PUTRAJAYA, Jan 19 (Bernama) - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will share his Islam Hadhari concept in promoting goodwill and understanding among people at the World Economic Forum in Davos next week.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said Friday, Abdullah's view on civilisational Islam would be much sought after in the inter-civilisation subject.
Abdullah would be attending the five-day annual forum from Jan 24 for the first time in his capacity as the country's premier, he told reporters after launching two books on protocol and etiquette at his ministry, here.
The prime minister will be involved in two plenary sessions and a working breakfast.
Abdullah is expected to deliver his opening remarks in the session titled "Rules for a Global Neighbourhood in a Multicultural World".
Abdullah will be a panellist together with Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in a plenary session titled "Asean's 40 Years - A New Future".
The prime minister will also attend a working breakfast titled "US Policy Directions Following the Congressional Mid-Term Elections".

Every year, the forum showcases only one country for their gala soiree and this year, in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year, Malaysian cultural performances and cuisine will be the order of the evening.
